Canada & US Shipping

Fees
Shipping and returns in Canada and the USA is with our compliments on orders with subtotals $75 or more (not including taxes, discounts & shipping fees). For standard orders under $75, shipping is a flat $10 domestically within Canada and $18 for USA residents*.  For details on our return policy, please click here .

*Please note that items shipped to Alaska, Hawaii and US Outlying Areas are delivered at our standard $18 shipping rate, with an additional charge of $10.

Shipping Policy
CANADA:  All orders are processed same day* and are shipped out through Canada Post within 24-72 hours of order receipt via Expedited Parcel and will be delivered** in 1 day - Local Greater Toronto Area, up to 3 days - Regionally and up to 7 days - Nationally.

USA:  All orders are processed same day* and are shipped out through Canada Post within 24-72 hours of order receipt via Tracked Packet USA and will be delivered** in 6 to 10 days.  Larger packages will be shipped via Expedited Parcel USA and will be delivered** in 4 to 6 days.  Note that once the parcel clears customs at the Canadian border, the tracking will show a scan indicating so.  The parcel is then transferred onto USPS - the local national postal service for final delivery. 

  • *Our fulfillment centre in Mississauga will process all authorized orders within 24 hours of receipt. Shipments are processed Monday through Friday (excluding national holidays, December 24th-25th and December 31st-January 1st) or during any event that would cause the facility to close (acts of God, severe inclement weather, etc.).
  • **Delivery standards are for items sent between most major urban centres and depend on origin and destination. Delivery standards are in business days, not calendar days. Some exceptions apply.

Province of Quebec Shipping Restrictions
Currently, some of our suppliers and/or manufacturers only provide their products in English which is not in compliance with the Quebec language legislation. Therefore, some products are not available for shipping to the province of Quebec. Customers within Quebec may still purchase these products as long as they are shipped to a province outside of Quebec.

International Shipping

International standard orders (outside of Canada & USA) are expedited from our Canadian fulfillment centre using Canada Post International Parcel Air and will take anywhere between 6 - 10 business days for delivery, depending on the destination.  Note that the parcel is trackable until it leaves Canada.  Once it arrives in the destination country, the tracking will show a scan indicating so.  The parcel is then forwarded onto the destination's local national postal service for final delivery. 

International Shipping Rates
International shipping is calculated using a number of factors, including the number of items you are purchasing, the weight of the items, and the destination country/region. The price can be previewed at checkout once your shipping address is applied.

Customs or Import Duties

Note that the total cost charged to you at check-out will exclude local provincial and federal taxes.  Any customs or import duties are levied once the package reaches its destination country. Petal & Post is not responsible for any additional charges for customs clearance and applicable duty, so please be aware that customers will be required to pay for these in full.  Duty (or customs tariffs) is set by the destination country's customs authorities and is based on a combination of the country of origin or manufacturing of the goods being purchased, and the classification of that merchandise. Value Added Tax (VAT) rates are set by the destination country.  Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information.  Delivery times may vary due to circumstances beyond our control.

Damaged Shipments

When your order arrives, please inspect the carton for any damage that may have occurred during the shipping process. It is normal for the outer carton to show some wear and tear; however, if there is damage to the item(s) in your shipment, notify us immediately at 1-800-259-4905,  between the hours of 10am - 7pm EST, Monday-Sunday.  You may also email us at returns@petalandpost.com.  Please indicate your order number when you call, and retain the shipping box, packaging materials and damaged items.
